A key component of the state’s Information Technology
workforce development strategy. The program strengthens
the links between organizations, and facilitates the development
of IT curriculum that will be responsive to the needs of business
and industry so that young people receive training that will
be relevant to their career progression. |

information necessary to help them understand and evaluate their
own programs and to utilize that information to ensure success
and continuous improvement. |

local school systems to have all new employees (including substitute
teachers) fingerprinted as a condition of employment. |

Education Consortium
provides funding to support vocational education programs. |

EDUCATION CONNECTION is participating in a new Transition Resource Counselor Initiative. The transition resource counselors will identify adult supports and services available to high school students with disabilities through BRS, the State Department of Education, the Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center, the RESCs, and SERC. |

include training, coaching, in-class demonstrations, and a range
of additional support services. |
