LEGO League

Description:
This program is designed to provide students in grades 4-6 an opportunity to participate in a learning experience that celebrates science and technology. Working collaboratively, students use problem-solving skills to research, plan, design and build a fully autonomous robot from LEGO bricks, sensors, motors and gears.

Each year’s theme will explore current trends in technology and science. Working as visionaries and scientists, the students will explore the way science and technology impact our day-to-day lives.

Students will:

  • Meet 4th, 5th, and 6th graders from other schools
  • Learn team building skills
  • Design and build a working robot with LEGOs
  • Have FUN while learning new skills
  • Participate in an interdistrict tournament
