Supported Living:
The mission of EDUCATION CONNECTION’s Supported Living Services is to promote independence while providing long-lasting personalized supports. We focus on community integration, with the expectation that consumers will have something to offer the community in return.

- Building healthy reciprocal relationships
Supported Living Services provides the following:
- Skills and needs assessment
- Community exploration
- Locating suitable housing
- Community acclimation
- In-home supports
- Ongoing personalized supports:
- teaching daily living skills
- addressing medical issues
- making appointments
- arranging for transportation
- coordinating recreational activities
- developing budgeting and banking skills
- organizing family supports when needed.
- Assisting consumers and/or families with maintaining entitlements
Consumers are eligible to receive these services if referred to EDUCATION CONNECTION by a Department of Developmental Services (DDS) case manager, a consumer, a family member, or a guardian.
