Mission:

The mission of Supported Employment Services is to promote independence while providing on-going individual supports. We assist consumers in acquiring and maintaining integrated employment in the community, focusing on current needs and future goals. With supported employment, individuals with special needs are employed in an integrated job and supported by a job coach who trains and provides on-going support.

These are the goals behind our holistic approach:

  • Acquiring marketable skills
  • Building healthy reciprocal relationships

Individuals who receive these services will:

  • Become a productive contributing member of the workforce.
  • Gain increased self-respect from their job accomplishments.

What is the Referral/Admission Process to Participate?

Clients are eligible to receive these services if referred to EDUCATION CONNECTION by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) case manager.
